i had a pair of shoes that i liked so when i was in a cole haan store i purchased a pair to serve as my next pair. a year later my original shoes finally began to deteriorate so i began wearing my new shoes.

after only a few months, they started falling apart.

i called up and was told ill probably get a refund or a replacement, just send in pictures to the email address. i sent them and i get the generic response. i called up and am told to call the nearest store. i call up and they cant help me.

i call up customer service again and am told that i will hear back in a few days. obviously no one contacted me so i called up and was told i could get a 30% off coupon code (ya right im taking that).

their issue was that i purchased them too long ago, despite not beginning to wear them until recently.

so since i liked the shoe, and wanted to have a backup available in case of need, i lose out when they became defective rather quickly. ill learn from this to avoid cole haan shoes in the future since they do not stand behind their products.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $95.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
